Room rental
Japan Museum SieboldHuis offers a beautiful setting for your celebration or company outing. The intimate atmosphere of the Panorama Room creates a unique space for a reception. A package including a visit and guided tour or lecture about the Siebold collection and the temporary exhibition is also among the possibilities.
Panorama Room
The largest room in the historic SieboldHuis is the Panorama Room. This room offers an overview of the wide variety of Japanese objects that Philipp Franz von Siebold brought back from Japan in the 19th century. The ceiling even dates back to the 18th century. This unique setting is ideal for (standing) receptions, presentations, lectures, and symposia. For lectures, the room can accommodate up to 50 people, and for receptions up to 75 people. The room can be equipped with a projector, computer, and sound system.
Entire Building
Outside of opening hours, it is also possible to rent individual rooms such as the Europe Room, Japan Room, or even the entire building for large gatherings. Thanks to our extensive experience and flexibility, Japan Museum SieboldHuis offers space for a wide range of possibilities.
During the museum's regular opening hours (Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM), there may be restrictions on the availability of certain spaces. On Mondays, there are more opportunities to rent larger parts of the building. Discounts may apply for cultural and Japan-related organizations.
