Museum Night Leiden

On the 25th of June there will be a second edition of Museum Night Leiden! Eight museums will open their doors between 20.00 h and 01.00 h. Visitors can enjoy the permanent exhibitions of the museums as well as live music, theatre, workshops, shows, DJ’s and much more. We guarantee you an evening of extraordinary experiences and cultural fireworks!

SieboldHuis houses Japan’s finest in a beautiful historic canal house. The halls display a collection of great diversity. Travel through the ancient Japan and be awed by the impressive giant crab, magnificent prints, ancient maps and many Japanese utensils.

During the Museum Night Leiden ancient and modern Japan meet in SieboldHuis. Get drawn into the world Murakami, Japanese calligraphy, sake and sushi. Enjoy the loungeboat in front or get to know the world of Murakami's Japan in the documentary and discussion evening.
