Fourth issue The Netherlands-Japan Review online

The 4th issue of The Netherlands-Japan Review is now available. The two main contributions are: Jules van Bylandt, een Nederlandse graaf op reis in Japan, 1890, by Mariëlla Beukers and Pre-modern Maps of the Shikoku Pilgrimage, by Hendrik van der Veere and Bas Valckx. Both articles feature unique visual material. Additionally, this issue offers the regular contribution by Arthur Witteveen, a top-class calligrapher, an article on Hokusai by Matthi Forrer and a translation of a Japanese poem by Frans Verwayen.
