During the 'Hokusai 250' exhibition children can learn about Japan's most famous work of art: 'The Great Wave' by Katsushika Hokusai. After a short introduction the children will create their own wave with crepe paper and colouring pencils. The most beautiful wave will be awarded a special Japanese prize by renowned Dutch Hokusai expert Prof Dr Matthi Forrer and a representative of the Japanese Embassy in the Netherlands.
The workshops will take place on Sunday January 30 and Sunday February 20 between 1pm and 3pm. On both days the prize for the most beautiful wave will be awarded at the end of the workshop, just before 3pm. Reservations can be made by e-mail until Friday February 18: .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address). Please note that there is a limited number of places available.
